I lost a case in front of Judge Firetag. I disagreed with his determination. He got some of it wrong, and we may appeal. Having said that, I found him to be thoughtful and diligent. It was obvious to me that he read the papers and considered the documentary evidence. He allowed the parties to argue the case at length, and even though I think he got it wrong, including on some legal issues, I can say he gave my client a fair shake. That's all you can ask. I'd appear before him again.

I filed a complaint to the higher Courts of California.[Redacted by Ed.]

I’m not upset that he took my custody away because I had a single depression episode.
I am upset at how he literally doesn’t care about any of the cases that stand before him. There is almost a sociopathic stigma to him. Zero feelings… maybe even autistic? Because he absolutely doesn’t ever appear to understand what anyone is saying to him. I pray his position is robbed by anyone who is even slightly better than him.

Advice: file a complaint to the higher judges/courts

This ‘Judge’ is a disgrace to the bench. There is no ‘honor’ in his work. Extremely biased and does not care for citizen’s rights. Denied the defendant’s right to a jury trial even though it had been paid for. Defendant was clearly right in his arguments but Firetag continued to state; “I hear what you’re saying, but I’m going to overrule you”.
Doesn’t seem to know the law which is shocking for such an ‘honorable judge’. Presented the law to him and he has to ask the plaintiff’s attorney “does that seem right to you?”
When it was evidenced that the plaintiff was not following the law, he did not bat an eyelash. Did nothing to punish/caution her.
Gave judgement exceeding his jurisdiction due to his biased, pro landlord stance. Continues to try to execute a VOID judgement. Trespasser of the law according to the superior court - just read the codes
Needs to be barred.
Not sure how he’s made it as a judge this long, an absolute joke

Judege is biased towards the female lawyers he is interested in. Did not even listen to the other side of the argument just asked female lawyer what she wanted and that was his decision. Should be barred.
