Comments:
I recently had a hearing with Judge E. Roberson, and my experience was deeply concerning. Despite presenting a petition that I had taken the time to prepare (almost 5 hours), Judge E. Roberson refused to consider it because he "can't read that" - someway I should have been able to present my petition. This arbitrary decision significantly limited my ability to present my case effectively.

Furthermore, during the hearing, I was not allowed to present all the evidence I had brought, which affected the fairness of the trial. Judge E. Roberson also made several remarks that were both insulting and dismissive, questioning my credibility and respect. I could not even provide rebuttals all the time. Two of my recordings (he only listened to one - 11 seconds) were long, but I made a timestamp sheet and guide for him - he did not look at that.

This behavior was not only unprofessional but also exacerbated my trauma, especially given the context of sibling abuse, which is often not taken seriously enough. Overall, it was a humiliating experience that I will live with for the rest of my life.

Judge E. Roberson's lack of maturity and low temper can destroy people's lives and put them in danger. Neither the petitioner nor the respondent deserves this kind of treatment in a courtroom setting.

In addition to my personal experience, I found multiple negative reviews about Judge E. Roberson on third-party websites, indicating a pattern of problematic behavior even though I tried to see him in a positive light. I was clearly wrong to do so. It's disheartening to see that such conduct persists and is not adequately addressed.

Though it may not happen, I hope that sharing my experience will contribute to a more thorough evaluation and accountability for Judge E. Roberson.

Judge Roberson purposely tried to get me not to testify against an ex girlfriend who has constantly harrassed and stalks me.

He did not take ANY TIME to review my evidence and i was the petitioner. He sided with the respondent after asking me to provide my evidence to her attorney just for them not to review it.

Judge Roberson is a power hungry Judge who does not listen nor ask questions.

John Guy is a more understandable Judge.

Comments:
Judge Roberson, appointed in 2017 has already made two attempts at gaining a seat on DCA. This judge is bias, bad tempered, and fails at understanding the rule of law that he is entrusted to uphold. He is a criminal in a robe. His is ill equipped for his position and causes great harm to the public.

Comments:
The absolute worst person the city could have as a circuit judge. With Judge Eric Roberson’s temperament and extreme bias, it makes just about every case pointless. He does not look at evidence on the claims of plaintiff and is quick to shit down the defendant and rule against them even while evidence proving their innocence. If anyone try’s to mention this to him he gets extremely emotional and sensitive and rules the court room as if we don’t live in the United States. There is many many many people that have their futures ruining because of judge Eric Roberson and his selfish know-it all attitude. The city of Jacksonville seriously needs to do something about this . All the cops in his courtroom know it too, but are to afraid to speak up infront of him, but soon as we are outside the courtroom doors they say exactly how they feel, after seeing this judge act like this for many years.

This Judge abuses his power in the courtroom and FORCES petitioners to accept protective injunctions if they want to have one on the respondent. He refuses to review WRITTEN evidence, yet allows false statements without any credible evidence to support VERBAL claims. He is notorious for excessive abuse of power, but still sits on the bench of law. Unbelievable! DO NOT EXPECT A FAIR HEARING WITH THIS GUY!!!

Eric Roberson is an ill tempered appointed Judge, who was called out by other judges for being heavy handed on high bail amounts. He filed his first case as a teenager, and was the youngest appointed Judge in 4th Circuit. He wants to make a name for himself. And he has accomplished that. Fellow lawyers find him Egregious and of late he is the Topic of conversation outside of the courtroom. He is notoriously late for court [Redacted by Ed.]

Roberson is Violating Due Process Rights in DV court and has Continued HIS Temp DV cases for 6 months for a year, Extending Temporary Injunctions in Violation of FL Law. Attorneys and litigants are outraged. [Redacted by Ed.]
