Judge Stacy has a friendly, pleasant demeanor. Her legal analysis, however, leaves much to be desired. She has been plain wrong on issues--even seemingly simple ones.

I also attended the Naturalization ceremony on 6/16/2010 with my wife and daughter. We were very inpressed with Judge Stacy's handling at this wonderful event and saw no offense in her comment to the US serviceman about a name change. In fact, it was very funny and obviously not meant to offend. If it was myself, I'd have been pleased having that special attention from the judge. More than a thousand people formed a long line and were willing to wait more than an hour just to have a picture taken with the Honorable Judge Stacy. This included my family. I hope Judge Stacy will continue to host these events. God bless Judge Frances Stacy!

I recently had the displeasure of attending a naturalization ceremony presided over by judge Stacy. Although many aspects of her behavior could be more than adequately described as bizarre, none was more appallingly offensive as her mocking of the name of a US serviceman being naturalized just minutes after extolling the virtues od this country. I was under the impression it was no longer humorous to giggle over a "foreign sounding" name, much less from a judges bench in front of two-thousand people. We defer to our judges for guidance both judicial and moral; she certainly taught a first rate lesson in 3rd grade cattiness.

Excellent and fair. Open minded. She gets it! Too bad she works under Harmon.

The fairest of the Houston magistrates in criminal cases.
