It is hard to believe that someone who is a federal judge only takes into consideration what he reads in your P.S.R. and what the prosecutor has stated about the defendant, without even trying to filter out the inflated, embellished, over-dramatized rhetoric brought to bear against the defendant. People should be judged as individuals, and not grouped into a category which does not represent the character of any one person. The Honorable H.D. Vietor is blinded by the federal sentencing guidelines, and does not deviate from them at all. (This statement is just my opinion.)

This judge did not take the law into account after undeniable evidence of the police lying, destroying evidence, etc. After a motion to suppress was denied, he took off his glasses and looked at the detectives who lied, covered up, and destroyed evidence and said: "If this ever happens in my courtroom again, I'm going to raise my eyebrows!" If this ever happens again? A young man and his whole future gone, violations of human liberty thrown out the window, but if it ever happens again, he will raise his eyebrows next time? How someone who is supposed to uphold the law and the Constitution can sit as a federal judge like that and get away with that ruling is beyond belief. I feel sorry for America. (Just my own opinion.)
