This judge is a true republican and will follow and rule on the money and does not assist in any way the little person.
I see it in case load after load, judicial review needs to step in and release this woman from the bench.
Big business is what she roots for all the way.

Judge Laurie Smith Camp fails to recuse herself from case where one defendanent was listed on the Federal Judicial conflict of interest list for Judge Smith Camp-a lawyer that had represented the Judge as a client-but this Judge fialed to recuse and ruled in favor of this conflicted party(a law firm).

Biased against defendant in criminal case, allowed prosecution to withhold forensic evidence from defense examination, allowed prosecution expert witness testimony despite obvious lack of expertise, would not allow defendant to change lawyers after she herself had commented on current lawyer's failure to follow established procedures, failed to inform jury of all of the requirements required by the law to convict.

Has a wonderful temperament. Spent most of her career working on criminal matters so she is less skilled in civil litigation, but overall she is a very good judge.

She spent her time in practice as an administrator in the Attorney General's office (i.e., not a courtroom lawyer), and it shows. Does not like to see the boat rocked, even if you have the evidence to support your position. In the words of Bobby Knight, "just lay back and enjoy it."

By far the worst district judge I have ever appeared in front of. If you are a criminal defendant, you better cooperate or you will be convicted and hammered at sentencing. Blatant dishonesty in why she departs. Rude and insulting to counsel and can be extraordinarily vindictive if reversed by the 8th Circuit and the Supreme Court. She is still green and clueless as to the law in criminal cases at least.
