Criminal Defense Lawyer

Comment #: 35452
Rating:10.0
Comments:
One of the truly great jurists. A "teaching judge" to young lawyers who will take the time to help coach and mold young lawyers in their courtroom advocacy. He will "bridge the gap" from what he sees as a judge and what young lawyers think is happening.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: 8854
Rating:9.7
Comments:
New judge who is taking his job very seriously but still remembers being a lawyer. He is working very hard. Although the bar believed he would be very conservative on the bench, there is no appearance of any ideological bent. I would be happy to have any type of case before him (plaintiff, defense or commercial). The notion that he is somehow less qualified than others (because his father-in-law is the former Judge Thompson who got him the job) is not fair to his very strong early work as a judge. Also, don't think you can push him around because he is a new judge.
