In my case judge Goldberg admitted on transcripts that he is friends with my defendants and their council. And refused to recuse himself in violation of federal laws. After which he permitted them to violate federal laws and violated U.S. Constitution rights to a JURY TRIAL. Then he manufactured Defenses on behalf of his friends, to try and Dismiss the case. AND NOW HE IS STALKING ME IN THE COURT SYSTEM AND AROUND MY HOUSE, TAKING PICTURES AROUND MY HOUSE.

About a decade ago I had an insurance matter before Judge Goldberg. He knew my adversary and seemed biased in her favor. He also misunderstood my client's legal theory and threatened me with sanctions until after several explanations he finally was able to understand the legal interpretation I was advocating for. We wound up settling for less than what the case was worth just to avoid having to try the case before him.

Cowards. You take the truth down. You are just another part of the swamp that promotes evil and turns it’s back on the victims. Shame on you!

Judge has a short fuse and is plainly pro-business. Watch out. My client took a lowball settlement rather than risk a trial before him.

An extremely intellectually incurious judge with a blazing temper and a poor grasp of civil matters (he is a former prosecutor). Plays favorites among the lawyers and his opinions have large legal flaws. A poor draw for plaintiffs in civil matters, okay for defendants if your case isn't too complex.

i appeared in his courtroom on an appeal from a pre-trial detention hearing . Judge Goldberg was thorough, fair and respectful to everyone in the court. I left the courtroom with a positive feeling for our system. Judge Goldberg knew the issues, was familiar with the facts presented before the magistrate judge and listened to the arguments from both sides before deciding the case.

I have started and deleted this several times..I'm trying to comment without being biased.
Yesterday, my family had our first courtroom experience. I was shocked at how the law operates..I understand the crime was serious and the consequences could have been disastrous.. (thankfully they weren't) I'm not lessning this believe me.
I suppose what i'm trying to say is, there is also a human side of the defendants story too, which i believe the Judge couldnt see.
The District attorny and Parole officer gave opinions about lesser sentencing which The Judge disagreed with..both of them.
The law is so much more then a series of graphs, points, numbers..etc.
thats how the sentencing seems to be handled.
When you're presiding over a courtroom i know there is a lot of stress, but i hope that other Judges will read this and have some compassion also..not every case is cut and dried.
The law has always been sacred to me..I cannot presume to say this wasn't handled in the best manner. all i can say is , in my opinion, it was decided from the get go. this surely didn't seem fair .
I hope i didn't seem bitter or biased as i tried to understand both sides as well as the Judges point of view.
I wish all parties involved nothing but the best.
