Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: 19597
Rating:4.5
Comments:
Not even-handed. He thinks he's the smartest person in the room so he doesn't listen to anyone else. He does his own research from the bench and rules from his gut, which is often skewed toward those he feels a kinship with from his days in private practice. He makes up arguments for counsel when he wants one side to win (and the other side to lose). He basically becomes the third counsel in the room, when what is really needed is a judge.

I enjoyed trying a case before Judge Feinerman. He treated the parties fairly and ruled thoughtfully on motions in limine and objections. He was even tempered and pleasant.
