We need a dozen of him. Fair to both sides.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comments:
An eminent jurist and, most importantly, a wonderful man who brings out the best in the lawyers before him. His patience was on full display when the lawyer for a party failed to show up to a summary judgment hearing because of a scheduling oversight. Also, he's well-prepared for hearings and moves his docket at a pretty good clip. You'd be lucky to have him as a judge.

Civil Litigation - Govt.

Rating:9.0
Comments:
In an employment discrimination case where the magistrate bent over backwards to grant summary judgment, the judge considered our objections and rejected the magistrate's recommendation. The judge was fair and impartial in recognizing that an impartial jury could find discrimination on the facts in the record. His evenhandedness is encouraging.
