I was a little worried when Judge Ramos was first appointed but she has proven to be an excellent judge. Very smart, and she really tries to get things right.

In a similar manner with Comment # 13465,Judge Ramos granted summary judgment in a breach of trust suit against a local prominent CPA Independent PR for taking PR fees of 15% of the estate's assets subject to administration (or $110,000 in excess of the max), plus an additional $45,000 in accountant's fees leaving the estate deleted with no assets to pay creditors and plenty of facts in dispute.

The judge refused to correct the matter upon being informed under a Rule 59(e) motion.

This was also amazing for a federal judge to make that sort of a mistake.

Could only conclude that the fact of the local prominent defendant may have had something to do with the outcome.

Just another unqualified mindless Obama appointee/follower put in there to rule not only against Our Constitution, but Our Country, for votes! That's what this judge is all about and both her and Obama know it!! She needs to be "thrown off the bench" and all of her previous rulings need to be accessed to ascertain that each side was ruled according to the laws on the books, not her radical 'one-sided emotional bias'!! *Isn't it funny that Obama flooded this country with these same types of shady judges to have them all 'lined-up' to go against this country, for him, a fraud!! ... And, she's pretending to act as if "We The People" don't have a clue what this is all about, PLEASE GET OFF THE BENCH, if you’re not going to uphold the OATH you supposedly swore to! .. Obviously, you didn’t take it seriously, but we do!!

Sincerely works hard at being prepared on the facts and the law, accurate and fair inher rulings. She is open to suggestionsabout procedural approaches to working through problems. She runs an efficient court with a staff that is dedicated, on top of things, to and knowledgeable. Very accessible which is leading to good and early resolutions for both sides.

Basically a Judge who sides with the insurance industryou always. She appears biased against independent, honest, male attorneys.

Excellent civil trial judge - has background in State Court trials and allows lawyer void dire - jury questions, etc. Rules quickly and fairly. Once ruled, a little stubborn in changing her mind, but not impossible.

I have always seen this Judge rule on behalf of the Insurance Defense industry. I believe that she used to work for the insurance defense industry. I also have seen her throw out merited civil cases by summary judgment, against the insurance industry. I believe these facts can be verified by an examination of her record.

The fact that she is attempting to strike down Texas' voter ID law let's me know she doesn't deserve to be a judge.

You got to be kidding on ruling getting an ID to vote is Unconstitutional. What about driving, school, cashing a check, and many other requirements to so an ID. YOU are just protection Illegal voting and you know it.

One more thing, it sounds like you might be talking about an employment law case. The fact is that the law is very hostile to employment law cases. The vast majority of employment law cases are resolved on summary judgment. This is particularly true in the 5th circuit. This is one of the problems of federal law. There are really horrible precedents out there. This is true in employment law, constitutional law, RICO Law, etc. I would think it would be very frustrating to be a federal district judge trying to both honor precedent and do the right thing.

You sure are going to have to provide more detail than that to convince me you have a legitimate complaint. I have not seen her on the federal bench, but she was as good as they come on the State Bench, and I doubt she has changed.

Even if she made a mistake, there are mistakes and there are mistakes. There are mis-citations and there are mis-citations. There are differences of opinions and there are black and white wrongs. I don't think your comment is due any weight at all.

My biggest fear for her is that the system will corrupt her. The federal law is ugly in many respects, and I think it would be hard to remain good in view of such an ugly environment.

Thank God Judges Rainey, Costa and Gonzalez Ramos are coming in to treat lawyers and defendants to justice without intimidation.

Judge Ramos is qualified, smart and even-handed. She is a joy to appear in front of, and thank goodness she rules the roost now. There is no love lost between her and the "Red Queen" Judge Jack, who clearly feels intimidated by her. Judge Jack is not half the lawyer, or half as smart.

She is a breath of fresh air in a very harsh and inflexible system.

Judge Ramos granted summary judgment against my client based on an actual mis-citation of a key holding. I am amazed a federal judge would make that sort of a mistake. Can only conclude that her predisposition is to favor large employers with no real analysis.
