Until I appeared before Judge Mannion I was increasingly disappointed in our legal system. Judge Mannion turned me around. I could not have been more impressed or grateful for this judge and his excellent, hard work and shuttle diplomacy during our settlment conference. He was fully engaged and fully up to speed on the case (unlike his predecessor). He listened carefully. He gave every impression that he understood our position. He spoke to us with understanding and respect. I’m sure he left the other side with an equal impression of his competency. I couldn’t have been more impressed with his competency, his demeanor, his attentiveness and his focus. I have no doubt at all that if we had more Judge Mannions a whole lot of people would feel a whole lot better about our legal system. I know I do.
