A longtime magistrate, Judge Drozd was elevated to Article III judge in 2022. In a case or issue involving any complexity, he is inadequate, not inquisitive, and will end up avoiding complexity altogether by denying the relief requested. His manner is off-putting too and despite his claim he loves humor in his courtroom, his actual demeanor is condescending and authoritarian. Naturally, be cautious about any professional that announces a fun trait, since it usually means the practical absence of that trait.
