Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: 20520
Rating:9.3
Comments:
I first appeared before Judge Gonzalez in the early 1980's, shortly after he was appointed. At the time I was impressed at how much he exuded his joy of serving as a judge. Remarkably, this same demeanor and enthusiasm has stayed with him over 30 years later. Exceedingly fair. Tries very hard to study the issues and apply the law correctly. Lets the parties know what he is thinking and what his concerns are --- not to pontificate but as an aid to counsel in shaping their arguments. Depsite decades on the federal bench, has yet to become imperious and is unfailingly courteous to counsel and the parties.
