Criminal Defense Lawyer

Comment #: 5342
Rating:Not Rated
Comments:
Judge Farnan established the "quantitative" and "qualitative" requisites of who must apply per 327(a), based on autonomy and bankruptcy decision authority. Too bad the rest of the Court(s) in Delaware ignore the precedent when it suits them.

Comments:
Has been outstanding in presiding over some of the most complex patent and securities cases in Delaware District. Great temperament, but firm with lawyers during trial.

Comments:
Painfully slow in issuing opinions.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: 1218
Rating:6.5
Comments:
These comments are based on a highly complicated 9 week civil trial involving approximately 20 expert witnesses. (Bench trial) Judge Farnan was even-handed and patient, always courteous. Did his homework re overnight motions. No obvious bias. Not overwhelmingly smart but kept his head above water in a trial involving a lot of science and math. However, he took nearly forever to issue an opinion.
