The recent case that went to the US Supreme Court is being falsely touted as this judge's support for GLBT community. This judge is mistakenly viewed as a champion for Gay rights and the rights of the underdog, when in fact her decision had nothing to do with gay rights.

This judge does not support Gay rights any more than she supports rights for other under-represented and oppressed groups and individuals.She supports big business and government.

The Gay rights part was merely incidental to this judge's overt bias in support of Government entities.
The defendant in that case was the City of Philadelphia, where this judge has cronies and relatives.And the Plaintiff was a Catholic organization who refused to allow children to be adopted by same-sex couples.
This judge would have decided on the side of the City Government no matter what the issue was or who the aggrieved party was

I wonder what legacy she wants to leave behind--one of fairness, integrity and honorable leadership;

Or does she want to be remembered as portraying a token lackey who upholds the status quo through bias toward the "Goliaths" at the expense of the poor, the disabled, the small person.

She ostensibly appears to be a lackey and in the pocket of big businesses and licking the boots of her cronies in government.

And she is modeling this unethical conduct for the Law Clerks and Interns who work for her.

She could be a She-ro. I'm learning that all judges want out. They basically make plaintiffs fight for them secretly. I hope the fed is reading and computating this precisely. The outer courts inside the courts seem to not be beneficial to them and you-know-who gets mistreated, the "obvious deserving person". When is court administrative procedure going to change? It's always okay to not roll the dice. The federal courts are exhausting the communities and itself. If it were my courthouse, if a person is guilty then they're guilty and if a person deserves a relief then it should be granted and ordered, plain and simple. Cheating somebody is never an option, especially from a groundbreaking, law abiding, honorable, ethical, courageous Federal Judge. Just trashing the constitution over and over... To be republican means to... To be democratic means to... To be liberal means to...

Do not find her bright, do not find her fair, do not find her punctual, do not find her caring. Moving cases along with minimal effort.

I do civil litigation, and I would have to agree with the commentator who called Judge Tucker biased toward the government. In civil litigation I have found her biased toward the authority figure be it the government or a corporation. In cases I've had before her, she was unconcerned with injustices to individuals and was willing to make intellectually dishonest rulings to achieve results that favored the business or government. In her favor, I will say her disposition seemed fair. I did not see her insult or be abusive toward people.

I wish that the Philadelphia judges would have a bit more tollerance of non-Philadelphia based attroenys positions in light of all the police corruption going on in Philadelphia. What are we to think when we are shut out of court and it doesn't even seem that a simple argument has been acknowledged by the Court?

Tucker is a completely biased judge. I don't know how she was ever appointed to the federal bench - she should have stayed at the state level. Not fair with the defense and totally pro-government.

A very thoughtful, careful and conscientious judge. A thinker who tries to achieve the most just result. A complement to the Federal bench.
