Hon. James M. Mason (Wood)
Judge Mason is consistently late, but it is due to the fact that he is very thorough. I am glad when he is thorough with my clients because then they know it is not just an arbitrary ruling, but a reasoned, thorough, fair examination of the facts.
Hon. Dennis P. Moroney (Milwaukee)
I've always found Judge Moroney to be entirely on point, fair, judicious, and even somewhat humorous in my appearances before him. I can't imagine that someone would allege that he is "biased and hypercritical." Sounds to me like an angry defendant (or defendant supporter) who didn't get his or her way. He is a well-respected member of the legal community.
Hon. Dennis P. Moroney (Milwaukee)
Judge Moroney appears to be very unfair - he is biased and hypercritical and disrespectful towards defendants and their attorneys. Judge Moroney uses a great deal of negative overture and sarcasm and belittlement in court. He appears to have no patience. I think that Judge Moroney should stick to the guidelines of the law to decide cases instead of his emotions.
Hon. Eugene D. Harrington (Washburn)
This judge is prejudiced. He has awarded custody of a child to a parent who has not supported her during the last ten years. This judge refused to allow the child to live with the mother, who has not had any contact with her child because the adopted father was supposed to be the better parent.
Hon. Charles F. Kahn, Jr. (Milwaukee)
Does not know the law. Sits on the bench playing with his computer. Over-analyzes everything - has a small mind and gets lost in minutiae. Likes to think he knows something the litigants don't know. He is not qualified to sit on the bench.
Hon. Dennis P. Moroney (Milwaukee)
Judge Moroney's courtroom is a place that no one should be subjected to. He is rude, obnoxious and disrespectful of clients as well as attorneys. He should find another profession.
Hon. Charles F. Kahn, Jr. (Milwaukee)
Judge Kahn serves as a role model for the rest of the judiciary. His temperament, intellect and people skills are superb. He is quick to recognize issues, and just as quick to resolve them in a fair and impartial manner.
Hon. Bruce K. Schmidt (Winnebago)
This judge is one of the best. Terrific knowledge of the law and a superb judicial temperament. Wisconsin needs more like him.
Hon. Charles F. Kahn, Jr. (Milwaukee)
I caught Judge Kahn playing a crossword puzzle game on his computer during my testimony. Judge Kahn admitted he had the game on his computer at the time and that he was sorry. He claims he was paying attention but I doubt it somehow. Time to retire!
Hon. Carl Ashley (Milwaukee)
He is rude and dismissive of attorneys. He is not good on the law, and is reluctant to make a decision. He acts as if any request is a huge imposition on him. Probably the worst temperament of any sitting judge.
