I think Kari Kristiansen is not fit to be a judge based on her repeated rulings heavily in favor of men, blatant favoritism towards certain attorneys, and all over the place evidentiary rulings.

She should not be a court judge and his put over 16 families children in physical harm. some have been sexually abused. some are 9 and trying to kill thereself, a few where locked in a closet and fed in a closet this kid is 5.

when given the evidence this judge still thinks the abusive parent is in the right. and blames the other parent when the kids where not in that parents custody. Judge Kari Kristansen should not be on the court panel or a judge.

Shows extreme bias, ignores my statements of fact profusely supported by evidence from official documents of the OTHER side while accepting one totally unsupported lie after the other from the attorney side and rules those as FACT dismissing as 12 (b) (6) with prejudice.

This judge repeatedly shows bias in the court room, while displaying unprofessional behaviors and ignoring adamant evidence. She hands children off to their abusers while allowing hear say in without any basis. She ignores other judges/magistrates rulings and opinions to fit the needs of her own wants. She uses intimidation and threats to force families into silence. She will shut down biological parents wants to rights of their own child while forcing that child into the home of an unbioligical parent. She allows drug use abuse and neglect to play out by the perpetrator and their family. This judge will come into a room and demonstrate bias with her own words prior to ever seeing evidence then will not allow evidence and will accuse witnesses as uncredible while allowing the perpetrators to lead in witnesses. She even ignores the testimony of law enforcement.

Her courtroom often gets out of hand, and she allows abuse to take place inside the courtroom. She lacks knowledge and understanding of issues concerning family. She clearly sides with perpetrator and often in admin hearings, refuses evidence to be presented by both sides. Renders children back to abusers, devastates families.Orders children back into harm's way with no regards for their safety.

Kari Kristiansen, lacks knowledge around Family Law, CINA Rules and the Indian Child Welfare Act. Kari Kristiansen has denied IWCA in several ICWA cases. I am State Certified ICWA Representative and she continues to allow several parties who are not biologically related to the families to be involved in the decision making around Alaska Native and Native American children involved. She also lacks the ability to understand the dynamics of Alaska Native's and Native American's. While Kari Kristiansen lacks the knowledge around Alaska's CINA Rules, she has proven it by ruling on CINA Rules which DO NOT exist. Her decision making should be reviewed by a well seasoned Judge who is familiar with all the CINA Rules and Family Law. It is frightening how her court room is ran. Her Clerk as well as her is unpredictable and so is her relationship with several unethical OCS Staff members. Judge Kari Kristiansen has also made several pre-judgments in cases where she has not heard both arguments to the case. I find her unethical and unprofessional besides her lack of knowledge around Alaska's CINA Rules, which may be based around what she studied in Law School which was real estate.

Judge Kristiansen gave sole legal and physical custody,of my only child,to the ex husband on grounds of hear say and he said/she said. He has 4 other grown children. Two are felons. One of which is a registered sex offender. This guy never stepped up to the plate, as a father, until I filed for divorce. I had less than adequate counsel and the case went down hill from start to finish. Both, daughter and mother are traumatized by these decisions. Judge Kristiansen has no experience in family law and is ruining lives of innocent children and mothers. Some of which are being taken from perfectly good parents and placed in less than desirable foster conditions. She needs to step down..... I want my daughter back.
