He’s either inept or doesn’t care about the law. I’m only a paralegal and it was an honor to have written the appeal overturning Judge Gurtler in my own civil case. Apparently, I know Arizona law better than he does.

Serious questions about judicial temperament and ability to remain impartial and unbiased. Question his knowledge of the law as his rulings are not consistent with the law or with other judges rulings in counties outside of Mohave County. Question his prejudicial treatment of attorney's who normally do not practice in Mohave County. Has a clear bias for attorney's who practice in Mohave County.

Counsel from outside Mohave County are at risk to treatment as a carpetbagger by this judge. He is treated like a Mandarin by insiders and he re-pays the favor in kind by favorable treatment.
