Horrible manners for Judicial Officer.. [Redacted by Ed.]. Extremely disrespectful to attorneys and In Pro Per Litigants. If attorney asks her
for basis for her decision you can hear from this judge "If you don't like it appeal it!" Extremely moody and rude to her supporting staff..
Her own bailiff was not able to tolerate her rudeness and ran away. Extremely biased and Makes decisions based on her mood instead of applying law to the set of facts. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE - [Redacted by Ed.].

The two words that best describe Judge Colfax: angry and unprofessional.

She is seemingly angry toward the world and is going to take it out on the poor people who have the misfortune to come before her (level of preparedness does not matter) - unless you are a criminal - in that case she's going to give a free pass. She particularly seems to despise women - especially those who are successful.

It's almost as if she views everyone as her competition and seeks to hobble them but criminals can't compete with her so she doesn't need to vent her anger and unhappiness on them.

I see someone has pegged her as a narcissist. Sadly that resonates - I would not be surprised if she were clinically diagnosed as a narcissist.

Judge Colfax is one of the best judges over at the Hall of Justice. She has a no-nonsense, get down to business style that is not appreciated by unprepared litigators, or witnesses and litigants who spout BS in her court room. She is one of the few judges who has the courage to follow the law, regardless of which side it helps. She takes the time to read the case law you cite, etc. I feel fortunate when I get sent to her court room.

I have watched this woman make some inhuman judgements with total disregard for children. I have witnessed her giving custody to a clearly unstable man and grant a 5 year order of protection based on an angry statement from 3 years prior to the day and her ex husband had domestic violence and drug charges. She refuses to answer why when she randomly decides in the worst favor of children. I don’t believe she likes women and she is a self proclaimed Lesbian according to her Facebook and her political profile. If this is the way court rooms are run today and no one is watching over the judges rulings, than family court has become a place without justice. At least in The DisHonorable Linda Colefax court room.

. She had absolutely no reason other than she does not like women to grant a stay away order for 5 years with no evidence of harassment. I left my husband who has a drug charge and domestic violence on his record. I have never been in trouble. He was harassing me constantly and interfearing with my visits with my daughter. It’s been 7 years and My child is now 21 and still won’t speak to me. I went to court for help and I got a life’s worth of pain. I never got to finish raising my only child because dishonorable Judge Colefax decided she don’t like me. That’s sadly American Justice.

As an Applied Behavior Analyst my opinion of Linda Colefax is very disappointing. This woman does not appear to be stable in the sense that she shows very high on the spectrum of Narcissistic Personality Disorder. I have watched this woman make some inhuman judgements with total disregard for children. I am a law enforcement officer and was appalled at Judge Colfax's abuse of authority, lack of respect and overall demeaning attitude. She is a former public defender which explains a large part of it but I hope to never find myself in her court room.

She showed outrageous Bias to my ex because he's male, who she's known to favor. Also my x's attorney is an white, middle aged, well educated lesbian like Colfax. She wouldn't listen to my attorney at all and all of her court orders followed what my x's attorney wanted, She said she would take 90 days to decide on financials, and took her a day to give him everything and me zero. Including the kids...

Unprepared, does not know the law, does not know standards that therapists' advance for the child's best interest - does the opposite in fact. As I watched her deal with each case I witnessed extreme bias against women - especially if they were attractive or wealthy. Nasty demeanor. Judge Colfax seemed like a smart and reasonable judge in the beginning of my case.

When I reported to her serious problems between me and my son's father, she brushed it off as non-important and seems to push for 50/50 custody no matter what the facts in your case are.

It's socially irresponsible and her rullings have caused much destruction to the life of my 2 year old son. She has caused serious damage to a child by giving the abusive alcoholic father 100% custody with me having supervised visits.

She seems to have no faith in innocent mothers who come to court and report violence against them by the fathers of their children.

Judge Colfax is an abuse enabler. Her courtroom glows with lies and evil.
