This is what you would see if you chose to sign up via video appearance in Los Angeles County court system. If you never signed up or intended to use it, how are you supposed to know that your witnesses, subpoenaed individuals and others would be able to appear, especially when you're an indigent litigant or pro per!?
It is exactly what happened to me when my main witness sat on his computer all morning, into the afternoon wondering why he is not being called.
And you can imagine my frustration in the fact that I was not able to call him to testify, unable to further convince the judge and losing my Restraining Order and the ability to protect my family.
Eventually, I had to file 3 more Restraining Order cases, relate them to my witness's separate case and file a "Peremptory Challenge" against judge Colletta so he wouldn't preside over any of our cases and rule against us vindictively!
The procedure by which, it seems, is a way to remove a judge from your case whom you suspect of being biased, is by asking the clerk for a simple 1 page form, filling it out and handing it to the clerk. I have done it before I went with judges and I understand that it might not help you in the middle of a hearing or after a judge already heard your case!

I have observed judge Colletta closely, he makes his own rules on appearance of witnesses, admission of evidences and appearance on LACourtConnect/Online; https://www.lacourt.org/lacceligibility/ui/familylaw.aspx?casetype=fl
If appearance online is not permitted then scrap the LA connect.
At times he appears unfair /biased as if he has already made up his mind while lacking comprehension

Might have worked as council for Los Angeles County in the past, after being a Los Angeles County prosecutor, lost elections to become a judge to a lady who never had a trial!
Presided over a case where a litigant is a Los Angeles County employee.
Is this a conflict of interest and should the judge have recused himself?
He also refused to allow a witness to appear via "LA Court Connect", stating that his court doesn't allow it!!
Why didn't the court inform the litigants that witnesses would not be allowed to testify via electronic means and how much does that denial prejudice litigants' cases?
Also judge allowed a witness to testify despite expressing prejudice against litigants, especially being the person who served court papers!!
Could these two reasons yield a successful appeal and a reversal in his decision?
If you can offer free advise, please post.
Appeal planned pronto.
If your client might rely on video conference, beware!!
You might consider another courtroom or courthouse.
They will refer you at times to downtown so that you get hammered there vindictively!!
As they are all one body.

Racist and biased, plain and simple.
Held me and detained me in the court against my will and had his sheriff deputies return me to the courtroom under threat of arrest for simply walking out.
I hadn't committed a crime and I needed to leave the courtroom in disgust for the way he was handling my case.
Denied protection of two innocent children against the wrath of a mentally deranged neighbor.
He comes across as the same type as the judges controlling the Los Angeles County legal system and contributing to the rift between constituents and justice.
Extremely hard to understand how these judges function and decide matters affecting the lives of human beings, supported by cops who further the injustice, abuse and civil rights violations!
I love how these racist judges refer to the people's court as "my courtroom"!
Who deeded it to you?!
The popular saying of "paper him or her" is useless, as you can only exercise it once and their corrupt buddies in supervising positions will just retaliate against you for challenging their corruption and abuse of authority.
If you ever wonder what the real motives behind the insurrection of January 6 or the motives behind reading Victor Osytovsky's writings, you have your answer.
