Judge Kolakowski appears to have the analytical mind of an engineer. She listens politely and seems to process arguments like one would in patent litigation (which she used to handle). She has a diverse background, including a Master of Divinity which tells me that her heart is in the right place and her community involvement confirms this. She is pleasant to attorneys appearing before her. I am encouraged that my case is assigned to her.

Judge Kolakowski is the fairest judge anyone could ever have ruling over their case. She is patient, fair and understanding.

Judge Kolakowski is a very nice lady but has no backbone at all. That can be a good or bad thing depending on whether you've been the one screwing up or whether the other side screwed up and you want her to do something about it. I was in the second situation.

She has to be the worst judge in the United States. To think she was a lawyer is shocking, let alone a judge. She should not be let anywhere near a court house. She is lead by the nose by the DA's office.
