Judge Hill is a very smart, hardworking Judge. That said, I would never allow another one of my cases to appear in front of her if it involved custody. With few exceptions, a person has to have children to really understand complex custody issues. And, as smart as Judge Hill is, her lack of child experience negatively impacts the way in which she handles and decides cases.

Hill is by far the most disgraceful Judge I have ever encountered. She put forth a judgment of her opinion of my daughters well being. Hill claimed I had 2 days to coax my 5 year old daughter to come up with a story from when she was 4 years old about being sexually abused. She then demoted my custody to joint with the father in which his girlfriend’s son was the one who sexually assaulted her and they live together. That is absolutely disgusting of Hill to place her opinion when my daughter made it very clear at the Keller Center which the detective wrote the report in detail. She is now witnessing this child whom assaulted her get vested by both her father and his mother and now the father has another woman while his live in girlfriend is at work threatening my daughter to be put in the bathroom to be her by her father. It’s effected her emotionally at this point and she no longer wants to go over. But because of Hill my daughter is forced to witness violence and get threatened and potentially assaulted again. Cps has been notified. But all and all NOTHING is being done. The judicial system and supposed advocates for our children is a joke. It makes me sick. Simply she didn’t like me. She discriminated upon my diagnosis of Bipolar 2 disorder which has been in remission for over 4 years now. Hill is in the AA fellowship as her father told me so I know she was playing sides as the father is in the same fellowship at the time. She believed every denied truth. Always disregarded anything I said as if there was a reason to be discredited at any point during the custody battle. Even the mediator advised against the father have joint custody as 5 people live in a 2 bedroom apartment. My daughter told me she sleeps on the floor or in bed with her 18 year half sister. Hill is a horrible judge of character and my daughter has to suffer due to her lack of intelligence.

Judge Hill is an amazing judge who handles all family law litigants and counsel with grace, dignity and respect. San Mateo County is very lucky to have such a wonderful judge on the family law bench.
