This judge robbed me of my chance to watch my kids grow. She is bies in my opinion and one sided in her court father's have no voice in her court.. completely ignored all the sign and failed to hold the other party accountable while focus on making every step extra hard for me..thanks to this judge I have costody but still can't see my kids..how much sense does that make

She horrible for family court or as any judge, sloppy and poor. She treats all as criminals and the ignored the law on family law cases for separate property claim. Empowering the abuser in the case and took file in submission and nerve makes ruling. She is the most horrible Judge and should be removed from being a Judge in any court room.

Judge Jennifer Madden does not have any experience in family law.
Very unprofessional, arrogant, always late, males biased decisions based on emotion and not on evidence.

Judge Jenifer Madden DOES NOT know the basic principles of child development or the usual recommendations for children based on their developmental age. She does not take into consideration the recommendations of mediators who are the professionals in the matter. She makes very poor decisions affecting the lives of children.

In addition, she has demonstrated to be biased against women.

She’s usually late and makes people wait long periods of time to reschedule for another hearing date. Attorneys must love her for that ( because they charge per hour)

When confronted about poor decisions, based on evidence she ends the case immediately. Very unfair and unprepared for her role. She needs a course on child development and refresh her family law rules.

Judge Madden never tried a single FL case before taking the bench, and it shows. She is habitually late and grossly incompetent. She routinely reschedules long hearings at the last minute. Most significantly, Judge Madden does not understand family law. She does not know the. rules of court or rules of evidence, and wastes huge amounts of time letting attorneys try to teach her the rules rather than making a decision and proceeding with the hearing. This is widely-known among East Bay FL attorneys. She does not seem to understand even the most basic arguments brought before her. I suppose she’s an ambulance chaser’s dream, because lawyers will churn out massive bills due to all of the explanations and rescheduling. Above all else, she’s utterly unaware of the harm which her ineptitude inflicts upon the families, the children, the college funds, etc. Anyone seeking a swift and fair family law proceeding based upon law and precedent would be very wise to stay away from this judge’s courtroom. She would do Alameda County a great service by either resigning or transferring to a venue for which she’s qualified.

If I could give her a Zero I would. Judge Madden is unprofessional, unprepared and is never on time She does NOT like white women and it shows up clearly in her courtroom

Judge Madden is very BIAS!!! She doesn’t not allow both parties to speak during they’re time. It’s is very unprofessional. She takes more of the women side rather than the men! She needs to be investigated.

I watched Judge Madden during a family law short cause calendar. She reads papers, listens to the parties, appeared fair and unbiased. She goes the extra mile to do research during her morning break. I am very impressed because she was not a FL attorney before becoming judge. Outstanding judge.
