This Judge said he read all my documents but would not apply Exception to Mediation Confidentiality Law. My attorney, the defendants, instance adjuster and the mediator took possession of a 2020 confidential settlement agreement I had with the landlord and it was admitted as evidence in the mediation meeting without my prior knowledge, oral or written consent to denial breach of habitability and other tort claims. See CCC 1152, CCC 1154 & Evidence Code Section 408. You cannot use a prior settlement agreement in another mediation. Case is on Appeal n to Resuse Judge Dillion.

It is surprising that this judge has been able to keep his job all this time. Just another level of incapacity that you barely encounter at Stanley Mosk Courthouse.

It was not a trial but a circus show that lasted for 8 DAYS totally wasting 15 jurors' time.
Anyone who cares enough should take a look into it and read a court transcript at least how this circus happened at Dept.73, Stanley Mosk Courthouse under this judge. The main circus cast is the woman who represented herself who got all the leeway from the judge for 8 days. Unbelievable.

This judge is a hot head who Is unsuitable to be on the bench. He got angry at my olient and me. Acting out of anger -six weeks later - he issued the most outrageous, punitive, extra-judicial order I've experienced in over 40 years of practice. I will us a 170.6 petition to disqualify this judge every time in the future,

I have spent 13 years in divorce litigation. My ex forged checks, lied about abuse and was proven to have perjured herself repeatedly. Judge Dillon not only didn't read the evidence, he also refused to look at her taxes that were falsified. Out of the six judges I have been though in LA country court. Timothy Dillon is the worst. A legal hack beyond description.

This judge seemed to of not read through my declaration and seemed uninterested in what I was saying. I have a valid reason to remove my daughter from the custody of her father and provided the evidence of 2 incidents. Since he is about to leave family law, I feel that he left it up to a Child Custody Evaluator to decide - in 4 months! I had a written statement, which I was told not to read and he kept putting his hand to his face as if he was frustrated by the answers that I was giving him. This made me nervous and I felt as if he didn't want me to speak. He got upset with the father several times. Even though I was calm when speaking and the father kept sighing and huffing and puffing, he said that it was a high conflict case. The truth is that we get along just fine and only disagree about who should have custody of our daughter. I wish I would have said more and I now realize that I made the mistake of assuming he had read through my declaration and exhibits.

I have sat on several of this judges court hearings. I am sorry, but he needs to go! He seems to be bored out of his mind and is very rude to people. He is judgmental and is very one sided. If he does not like you at one point, please run because he will never agree or like you. I have seen him on different cases and he does not listen. He tends to give children if they are of age to make their decision and as you all know, parents tend to put their needs first and of-course the cool parent always win because the parent with strict rules is too controlling. If you get this guy, run and ask for a transfer. As for lawyers, if he does not like you, your client will suffer. I have heard him rule in ten different cases. Sorry, sloppy, lazy, and does not seem to want to be there.
