Comments:
Judge Chang trial taxed my client and handed out the harshest sentencing on a first offense DUI that I have seen in almost 30 years of practice. She sentenced to my client for 60 days, half in actual custody for a first offense DUI with .17 BAC and two stale priors. I challenged her on her trial tax and she replied that those who resolved their case before trial we rewarded for early resolution but defendants who go to trial are not being punished. I question if she really believes her own reasoning. Avoid her at all costs.
