Judge Ziedler is a very serious and by the book judge. He holds everyone in his courtroom to a very high standard. He holds himself to an even higher standard. He #1 concern is the children and families he serves as a judge. He advocates on behalf of each child as a human being deserving of love and he protects them fiercely. In his courtroom he looks everyone in the eye and holds them accountable. His commitement to his cause of protecting children and reuniting families when it is in the best interest of the child is admireable. He is consistent in his approach to justice. He truly loves children. He respects their opinions and he listens to them. Zeke Zeidler works well with DCFS staff and is a true supporter of the CASA Program. He is a great man.

This judge is very unpredictable and unfair. He does what he wants regardless of what in the best interest of the child. Even when you meet all court ordered requirements set in place in the case plan he will still take your children away. Destroying families is what he has built his career on. He and many others like him continues to profit off the backs of innocent children in this Monopoly of legal kidnapping and selling of our children called DCFS. It’s frightening to think how many people lives he has destroyed during his time on the bench.

Zeidler is very unpredictable in his rulings: sometimes fair and by-the-book, and sometimes erratic and off-the-wall! His temperament is bad; he can be nice to kids sometimes, but he is usually moody and rude to people in his courtroom. He insults people during hearings which is never professional. DCFS staff and attorneys hate dealing with Zeidler.

Love his personality and demeanor in court. Great with the kids. Fair and just. My ddaughter's case was a difficult 5-yr ordeal, and he stuck it out with us all that time.

Ratings from 1 - 10 Judge Zeidler gets a 10, I'd rate him higher if i could. Talk about a man whom cares for children and the underrepresented populations. Safety, Safety, safety. Adequate Services for the children and their families. He's pleasant, I don't see or hear what others are talking about, he wants social workers to do a better job for these families, what's wrong with that. Judge Zeidler has my vote!!

You are an awesome Judge and a vigilant overseerer of our children. Keep doing what you're doing. I see you interacting with children and I know your heart goes out to them, I also know you're concerned about families and reuniting children to a safer more sustainable home environment.
The parents that acted in a way to put their children in hazardous environments are the cause of them being in the system, not the Judge, He's just ensuring the safety of these children. Parents need to wake up, stop playing the blame game and follow court orders, not only follow but learn; they'll be much better parents if they do; I know.

On many occasions over the years I've had the opportunity to watch Judge Zeidler in action. Its been my observation that he genuinely cares for the children under his jurisdiction. He's kind and shows compassion not only to the children but to their families. Some say he's difficult and doesn't care about reuniting children with their families. What must be understood is that it's up to the parents to reunite. Through their actions of jeopardizing their children's safety they came to the system and now it's up to them to understand the detriment of their actions towards their children, rectify their ways and reunify. One must put the blame where it belongs and see that this is not a game for Judge Zeidler, that child safety is his priority. If I could tell him without criticisms, I would say Judge Zeidler, job well done, keep it up@

This judge is so biased towards fathers that it is detrimental to the children that he is supposed to be defending. He has a total disregard for what any attorneys or DCFS employees may have to say while in court. He also does what he wants and how he wants with a disregard to any case plans that were put together by DCFS.
