In my specific situation. She failed to honor her oat by imposing intimidation while covering for Talamantes who also lacks integrity.
I was married with a married woman thst deceived me for green card. I was forced by these judges to silence and accept divorce instead of annuity. Bigamy is a crime and I was forced to silence so this wife that brought a minor son from overseas from another marriage to obtain US asylum

She reads and makes decisions. She comes off stern but I think it is not a great distraction and makes for a generally organized court room. She sniffs out bs when witness embellishes.

I believe her job was to honor her oath of office. She sided Judge Talamantes who I believe to be a US Traitor.
I was married with a person that was married according to law. for not complying with the FAM. code 2339. Bigamy.
I was forced to silence and accept divorce. I was forced to let the wife steal money from my account. Shame of both judges. Judge talamantes and his family shamefully as I believe makes money off of undocumented workers and fraudulent VAWA loophole US Asylum

She did not accept our international marriage certificate to divorce us according to international laws. I was told to not tell anyone about our divorce case. I did not. Now our children are older, I have no fear to talk. It was a torture as a mother to see all the papers went into garbage in closed circle behind the doors. I was a foreign mother in an incredible racist court directed by verna adams. Nothing honorable about her causing harm to children. I saw mediators crying and my children being thrown around illegally. An American family court totally acted against international laws. Not surprising to many but it still hurts. My marriage license was not considered but all the headache and racism during divorce was fine. I would rather a gang rape in twilight zone instead being in verna adam’s court. She changed the judges each case for 15 years. It is an ugly game on the expense in children and she should be in a dark cell calling her self a judge.

So I have sat in Judge Adams courtroom at least 10 times. And watched her rule on at least 50 cases. She has a clear bias against men but is very good at hiding it. She will allow the mom a lot of leeway to speak but cut men off quickly. She will allow the mother to make claims without proof but demand proof from the men. She will allow the court officer to call a mother who has not shown up and I’ve seen her make the dad wait 2 hours for the mother to call back. And when she did not the judge allowed a continuance instead of dismissing the case as the dad requested. Some months later I saw the same couple come up again and the father had called stating he was on the way and had a flat but it was fixed and he was 15 minutes late. She dismissed his case. I recall thinking that wasn’t fair or equal treatment. I have seen her talk down to men especially black and Hispanic men. She’s a little more tolerant of white men but still condescending. I have seen her catch a mother lying and do nothing. She allows the mothers way too much leniency. Ex: There was a case for contempt. The mother did not have primary custody. The dad did. But she did have the kids in the summer. The dad claimed the mom refused to take the son to dr appointments that had been scheduled. Apparently the court order started it was mandatory to see a specific doctor and neither parent could change it without other parents consent. So she did and the dad showed several emails and texts telling the mom she was violating the order. She continued to do it. So the guy proved all the points needed for contempt. But JUDGE ADAMS said the Mom didn’t intentionally violate. Another guy had
Moved to another county. Asked to move the case. The mom wanted to stay there but she also lived in a different county. The dad voice his opinion that her rulings were not in the best interest of the kids but for the mom. She ruled against him and kept case in Marin county where neither party reside but it was the moms desire so she did it. This kind of judicial privilege is how she exercises her bias. Her term was up in January 2021. I don’t think there has been an election. We need to find a way to remove her so she can stop damaging families in Marin county

Worst family law judge in Marin County. She is very intelligent but manipulates the court rules to align with her own prejudices against parties or attorneys, especially women. She violates ADA rules, she violates usual due process, screams in court and is a great harm to children and families as she has no clue what is in a child's best interest or the long term harm she does to children and families. She acts like a dry drunk in Court. One wonders if she herself had an alcohol problem but never got effective help for her underlying mental issues.

She is incompetent and does not follow the California Code of Civil Procedure. She makes custody modifications without the requisite findings of a substantial change in circumstances. Or she'll just make them up. She clearly favors deadbeat dads and abusive dads and bends over backwards to punish protective parents or moms who have been abused. She is biased towards abusive fathers and places children in harms' way. I wonder what happened to her to make her hate women and children so much and favor fathers no matter what. She will take a deadbeat dad at his word. I've watched her allow a father to testify without being sworn under oath and literally use this "testimony" as "evidence" to support custody decisions. Meanwhile, she screams at mothers and makes them feel less than human. It's so sad and painful to watch. Please someone get her off the bench before she ruins more childrens' lives.

She's horrible. She doesn't follow the letter of the law, she constantly screams at parties in the family law courtroom, she is knows as the Judge who always rules in favor of the Deadbeat Dads. She hates women. I see that a criminal defense lawyer called her the "smartest judge in Marin" probably b/c she helped out an abusive husband.

She is objectively biased. When I divorced my ex-husband, I was new to Marin County and the Superior Court; my ex-husband and his Attorney were not. I was at an enormous disadvantage because both my ex and his attorney had been planning their strategy years before. The opposing counsel tricked my then attorney into switching Judges from Talamantes to Adams, for a good reason. The opposing side trash-talked me and based everything on lies and deceit toward the Court and Judge Adams. She bought it hook, line, and, sinker oblivious to the fact that neither respected her or her courtroom.

As a trauma therapist treating victims of domestic violence, I am aware of Judge Adams' apparent bias and lack of understanding/compassion for women and children who have experienced and ARE experiencing life with a controlling abuser.

Sad to see this man get railroaded by judge Judy..aka verna adams. , this guy had abs has no chance in this courtroom. This gentleman has lost every motion or requests he’s brought up. This judge has it out for him. Not sure because of his race , female preference to to his ex, which is obvious to me and other employees. This gentleman has always been respectful to verbs but she’s down right nasty to him, interrupts him every chance she gets, rude and nasty demeanor to this guy. Hope there’s someway to help him with verna Adams. She’s horrible judge. I’ve witness many of this gentleman cases and this judge should be removed or recuse herself immediately! Damn shame!

This judge is biased to mothers. Interrupting every statement you make. Has her mind made up before hearing your case. In cohoots with some of Marin elderly attorneys. She’s a good old girl. Part of Marin FLEAS crew. Please don’t be a black male, you don’t have a chance! May as well speak up, you’re going to loose anyway. She’s a divorcee and most of the family court workers, all female, guys you’re doomed. Change your venue ASAP!
