Their responsibility is monumental, as they are entrusted with making decisions that profoundly impact individuals, families, and society. A judge must possess not only legal expertise but also an unwavering commitment to impartiality, fairness, and the integrity of the judicial process.

However, when a judge fails to adhere to these principles, the consequences are far-reaching. A biased or corrupt judge does not only harm the immediate parties involved in a case; they undermine the very foundation of the legal system. In the case of Judge Scott Nord, his actions and decisions have raised serious questions about his ability to perform these duties fairly. Allegations of bias, conflicts of interest, and a failure to act within legal boundaries suggest that Nord has not consistently adhered to the ethical standards expected of someone in his position.

One of the most important duties of any judge is to make rulings based on the law, not personal beliefs or outside influences. When a judge allows personal opinions or external pressures to influence their decisions, they are no longer serving justice—they are serving their own interests or the interests of others. Opposing told absurdly bold faced lies and sided with them on child custody. Absolutely horrific. It has ripped our family apart. Obvious bias towards fathers and fellow occupants in the legal field.

Our case is not over, but Judge Nord is so respectful of all parties and demands attorneys and parties maintain standards of decorum in the courtroom. What I’ve seen so far is that Judge Nord is highly intelligent, is a true neutral party and truly considers the best interest of the child.
