I am an out of town lawyer who observed this judge handle a long misd calendar with numerous pro per defendants. He was unbelievably patient and fair to the defendants. He explained their rights and did an overall great job. I appear throughout the state and was very impressed with this judges patience and overall control of a tough calendar. Wish we had more judges like him.

This judge was very unprofessional in the courtroom, and acted completely unfairly towards the pro per litigants. He refused to uphold both the law and his duty as a judge when he acted unfairly towards one party in the case, while siding with the other. He totally abuses his discretion, and is cruel.

He has not forgotten what practicing law was like so he understands witness scheduling problems but also respects the time of jurors and staff. Made complex rulings from the bench with accurate legal authority, rules quickly on evidentiary objections and generally makes the right call. I would accept him as a trial judge on any civil case.
