I very recently had a multi-day trial before this Judge. I have had litigation before more than fifty Associate Judges, so I do understand the differences between jurists. Judge Nooter is a talented Judge. In conducting a trial, he stays ahead of counsels in evaluating evidentiary issues. And he is really even handed in dealing with parties advancing their arguments. He probes both sides on their views of the pertinent law, and he enlists discussion on how that law applies from each party's perspective. His written rulings are easily understood. And if the above is not enough, Judge Nooter is super respectful of litigants and lawyers. That is what being an excellent Judge is all about.
