In my experience, Judge Saddler was even-tempered enough, but lazy and above all, dumb as a rock. You have no idea how she will rule on motions or at trial (for example on rules of evidence) because she doesn't know what she is doing. She will mouth some legal principle and then totally misapply it.

She really makes you wonder not only how she became a judge, but how she passed the bar exam

Judge Saddler is one of the worst judges on the DC bench. It one thing to be rude, nasty, and disrecptful to the defense bar in your courtroom. It’s a different thing to be not bright, intellectually. It’s an entirely different (and disastrous) to be both, which Judge Saddler is. She is one of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. On top of the general disrespect she shows, she has no clue what she’s doing on the bench. There is a reason the chief judge doesn’t trust her to handle felony matters in DC (she’d likely not be able to comprehend the complexity of the litigation that is currently being undertaken in the felony courts of DC). Judge Fern Saddler has no business sitting on the bench of any jurisdiction.

This Judge should be criminally charged for her behavior. Judge Saddler has deliberately and intentionally conspired with the AAG to keep children in the foster care system. This Judge should had vacated an order after she left out all defendants evidence in the finding of fact and conclusion of law. This Judge has deliberately allow the system to destroyed many children. She need to be remove from the bench.

This is judge is slanted toward female litigants, even if the litigant's case has no merit. She threatened to hold mysefl and a co-respondent in contempt, when the petitioner was the one having a Jerry Springer moment. She is unable to make difficult decision, especially when the petitioner is female, and the obvious decision would be unfavorable to the female. If you are a male who is before her on a civil matter, request another judget, post haste.
