It was a pleasure to be in Judge Demeo's court. High intelligence coupled with excellent reasoning skills. Should be promoted quickly over the older white guys like G Fisher and others that are only there to "do a hack job" under the guise legal capability. Her ivy background is most evident..

very very sharp. lays out her findings with great detail and pretty much always gets it right. i dont think her reversal rate will be high and she is definitely going places, maybe district court. shes now on misdemeanor calendars but that wont be for long-far too bright. however, stoic to a fault. not very pleasant. takes personal offense to things that arent personal. she tattles on attorneys a lot by calling back to the office for petty things, something judges shouldnt waste time doing. every once in awhile a little bit of of ghetto vernacular will creep out when she gets heated. she finds defendants guilty when she should but then wont sentence them in a fashion that makes a difference. she tends to let more affluent defendants off easier which isnt fair to minority/poorer defendants-and this is coming from a prosecutor. i suppose a judge's friendliness shouldnt matter but when you're frequently before her, it would be nice if she wasnt so robotic. in this jurisdiction, however, her intelligence is refreshing.
