A bat mitzvah girl on steroids, so full of herself she might as well be deaf. People have forgotten she became a judge by suing to disqualify a qualified Hispanic candidate running against her and got slapped down by another circuit court Judge and a panel of the Third District Court of Appeal, but she won anyway which just proves people are stupid ... but she will burn in Hell for how she handled the Barahona twins case.

God bless this woman and I hope the suffering that I go through never goes away, this woman screwed up my life 16 years ago unfairly she took my son out of my hands and gave him up for adoption, judge, I want to tell you that there is not a day of my life that y9 not I cried for my son, you never cared about the love that I had for me, baby, I blame myself for things that did not exist, I regret being inexperienced in those years and not continuing to fight until my last breath. hug my son again

Family cases on judge Valerie R. Manno schurr calendar where the whole cases has been done without the knowledge of father and reach a final judgment of the petitioner losing the child custody and dockets were not even open by this judge , a total proof of lack of morals as a judge

Threats everybody denigrating, and doesn't give any opportunity to explain, and gets to a decision with out hearing all the facts of the case. She doesn't deserve to be on that seat.+

She is the worst judge that exists, should not be in family court should remove and review every case she has had, the lives and safety of children are at stake, as a society, as people, and more in this great country cannot allow people like her to make decisions that affect innocent people, that is why the people have lost faith in the judicial system, even the lawyers themselves get frustrated and explain that they hate to exercise because of the anger and outrage that causes them, the circus that becomes its judgments, everyone knows about their bad work, and even talk about alcohol abuse problems, it is necessary to take more seriously the responsibility of making decisions where innocent children end up dead as in cases of this judge has happened

When the Judge entered the courtroom she was arrogant and non-involved in the case. She cared more about her computer than hearing any of the allegation and even fact, in my opinion a picture is greater evidence than words. She had made up her mind before hearing both parties. She told my lawyers this is just about the case, however let the other parties lawyer bring more things that were not relevant. I do not know how she sleeps at night letting bad people walk. She is unfair and very disrespectful, beside all this she is just caring about herself.

I never writte a review but , this time and due to all the nasty coments people send below I got to say , this judge is performing her job to the level of profesionalism , ethic and follow the law as is expected. She think on the child not on the parents best interest as should be. Dont be affraid to be in front of this woman, she will make the right call , I learn that today on my own case . She is pure evil. She took my kids away from me and gave it to my abusive ex, I had every proof, took parental classes and the only thing she did was rip the papers in front of me. She made my lawyers scare of her and told them if they don't back of from the case they would loose their license. My ex lawyer and the judge are best friend they know each other. She didn't let me talk or anything. Now my kids are being abuse every day from this monster and he do whatever he want. I had tried everything and is like they work with each other. I feel hopeless. I have text messages of my kids begging me to help them and get them out of there. I don't know what else to do. I hope they remove this witch put of here.

I had trial this morning and not once was my evidence on my recent affidavvit taken into consideration. This judge knowly aware that my wife was there to support me and help me asked her to step out the court room because the opposing council asked her to. Claiming to possibly use her as a witness. Mind you she based my now child support on a number the opposing council requested of her. This judge took the authority granted to her and abused it not being fair and not using as such evidence presented upon her respected judge. Not once was any of the Financial affidavits considered. She also disregarded my attempt to ask why the opposing council changed theirnfinancial affidavit 3xs. With the last change done the night before. Not processed by the court. It was never stamped. Mind were all stamped. She refused to review any of my documention. She accused me countless times of smoking Marijuana. This Judge has not true Knowles or effort to rejoining family's. Instead the facts are put aside and a father's voice is not heard. It's a shame there is no hope for individuals like myself. Now my wife is left with a bigger burden after hurricane Irma to now help me pay the injustice made towards my child support.

I never got to bear witness, to this judge's scales of justice ,in court. My only interaction with this magistrate, was in an 20 minute emergency hearing , to determine temporary(indefinite) child custody hearing , concerning my daughter. I researched the honorable judge Valerie Schurr, and her husband's financial irregularities , and I anticipated my uphill obstacles, before standing in front of her. I felt I was treated like a defendant in trial. I was not allowed to finish a complete sentence, while she allowed to other party's litigator, to have the floor for ten minutes at a time. This is the judge, that awarded the berahona toddler twins, into foster care. Nubia is deceased, her twin brother carries chemical skin scars, for life. I've contacted Loretta Lynch's D.O.J., in order for transparency

In today's situation I was very disappointed with the Judge. From my previous experience I expected her to listen and to be fair, and to listen to all the evidence I had to present. I was representing myself and had no idea what I was doing and filed the incorrect forms. This judge took her time in between hearings and guided me and granted my request. How many people do you know in today's world who will take the time to guide and service you accordingly. I was WOWed by her willingness to help and while I sat in her courtroom, I realized she treated everyone with outmost respect. Thank you Hon. Manno Schurr

I am very concerned with the people that sit in the chair of the judge and are in charge of delivering justice without picking a site based on personal opinion. I had the opportunity to observe a case with Valerie Manno as the judge and there was a minor involved in a serious case were negligence was one of the issues along with other serious allegations that has placed this minor in danger for various occassions. She presented herself in many court appointments with out preparing in advance for the case and the petioner and the responded has had to explain everything from the beggining. In this case there was a lot of proof to cover the petition and she has decided to ignore and she is openly picking up one of the parties sides and taking into consideration the opinion of people that she has put on the case and those people have not have the courtesy of looking into the case. She is aware of the neglicence, she has heard experts confirming the proof that has been presented to her and she is still making everything to proof otherwise. In the meantime there is a minor suffering the consequences of a judge making a decision based on personal preferences. My concern is: Should the safety of a minor be placed on the hands of someone that is not taking her job description seriously? She has openly offended one of the parties and accused without any consideration into what this person is going through for the past times having to deal with the issue at court and with the daily consequences in daily life of this issue. It is very sad to oberve that the justice system that we all turn outselved into for protection ends up punishing the innocents.
I would say that it is a mistake to observe a person for only objective. If someone has a history of drugs dealing problems, bad traffic record, bad attendance with court orders, bad record with child support payment, and now is responding to court for child neglicence and this major issue, the judge should be looking at this person as a whole because all these records show that this is a person that tends to brake the law and has put a minor in danger. And this is the type of person that Valerie Manno chose to be lineate with and confort during court. Is the justice system sending a liberal message to the community and saying: hey it is okay to run a stop sign, a red light, it is okay to neglet your sons and daughters and it is okay to be late and owe child support, it is okay to be a delinquent? On the other side, the other party has a sparkling record and is doing great for the american society and this is the person that Valerie Manno decided to attack, the one that is defending a minor that was put in danger.
I hope this change soon because it is unfair that our country justice system is reduced to these opinions that I am reading below and the one that I am sadly sharing with all of you.
Despite all of this, I bless her and hope that she can find the peace and objective that our people deserve in a court of law. That the people that voted for her are expecting of her.

I have found this judge to be totally unreasonable, and ignorant of the best interests of the child. She totally ignored the facts of the case and interjected her own personal beliefs into her judgement. She was biased against the party with the lesser income. She ignored accusations of abuse against the eventual winner. In my belief, she was totally wrong in her rendering of her decision. She seems to revel in removing children from their mothers and then erroneously labeling that mother as inadequate. Lastly, this judge will lead to the ruin of numerous children's lives if she is permitted to remain on the bench. (I reference the Barahona twins as a prime example of the competency of this judge. Read the case for yourself.)

Judge Manno Schurr is a person who never really looks into her cases. She set the client with the paid lawyer as the good parent. Her judgement of character is impaired by how one looks, not based on the facts. She is a time bomb, and the people need to vote her out of office. Lasst commentator has the percentages wrong. She doesn't know what she's doing 99% of the time; the reaining 1% is luck. Rarely shows up, works short hours, and signs ANYTHING placed in front of her. Judge Manno Schurr does not have a clue even if it were to be staring her right in the face when it comes down to Family Court matters. She is INCOMPETENT as they come and should not be serving as a judge much less anything else in the Miami-Dade Court system. She is bias, unprofessional in addition to being derelict in her decisions.The most ARROGANT judge I've ever encountered. With JUDGES like her everyone should fear the worst, especially when dealing with children.
