She stated she reviewed the case in her chambers before court was in session and I feel she had her mind made up then, without considering the evidence provided during the actual hearing. I agree with the comment below, she be removed from her chair and stripped of her title.

I'm disabled, partially deaf/hard of hearing and Judge Bedinghaus denied my rights to fair accommodations for my hearing. She told me to retain and pay for my own interpreter. I was in total shock and embarrassed by this remark. She made me feel like I was less than a person and it's my fault I'm hard of hearing. I'm a stroke Survivor!!!

You gotta be carefull with this judge, all she wants like the rest of them is your money and if you get on her bad side she will max you out on the penalties or send you down to 49th street court house so those judges increase your fine from what she had for you.

After receiving citations from code enforcement and deciding to fight them, I was warned by the officer that I would "never" win before Judge Bedinghaus. He was correct. Evidence (photos) illegally collected without permission from the curtilage of the property were admitted and accepted as evidence even with my protest. Some pictures were not even of my property and it was made known to the court. I introduced precedence given by 3 Florida State Attorneys General and it was ignored. All 4 citations were convictions. I spent about 25 to 30 minutes before the judge and as I left the courtroom I was told "You better watch yourself." by the judge. There were several other code enforcement officers in the courtroom when I left and all gasped and shook their heads as I left. I did have the ability to watch several cases before mine and there is NO question in my mind that this judge is NOT healthy for the welfare of the citizens of Pinellas/Pasco counties.

I have been before Judge Bedinghaus on many occasions and have found her to be totally professional, knowledgeable, and even-tempered. She doesn't suffer fools lightly. However, we are better lawyers because of her. She is also very funny by the way. When I knew her practice background, I was afraid she would be totally pro-prosecution, but she has shown herself to be fair and impartial. I know she has given the prosecution headaches from time to time by requiring them to be prepared. They even had to nolle pros some cases - practically unheard of in her divison previously. Come on guys, let's be honest and not just bitter because we didn't get our way all the time like with some other judges. She deserved to be elected. She is doing a nice job.

Judge Bedinghaus: "It's not what you know but who you know." She is always partial to the government and crosses the line of judicial temperance excessively.
