This family court judge DUNNIGAN has very RUDE, NASTY BEAVIOUR, is totally DISREPSECTFUL on a simple matter to SEAL a dismissed malicious & damaging restraining order from 2011. She did not even give legal counsel 30 seconds of discussion before saying she has no jurisdiction (When her legal assistant said to file exactly what we did). She obviously invents Florida law and Case Law as she goes, she obviously knows nothing about her JURISDICTION power to rule on sealing or expunging a dismissed restraining order involving a closed and dismissed restraining order that HERSELF DISMISSED THE CASE! This woman is inept and incompetent!!!
DUNNIGAN should retire and step down. WE ARE filing a disciplinary action notice with the Florida JQC. I cannot say the words YOUR HONOR or HONORABLE JUDGE DUNNIGAN here because she does not deserve that title!!!

I don't know where these comments stem from. Judge Dunnigan is a good and fair judge. She is one of the few judges who actually prepares for a hearing and actually reads the pleadings and case law before a hearing. Perhaps the sour grape arise because she does not tolerate unprofessionalism and she expects the lawyers who practice in front of her to be prepared. What a concept.

This judge needs to be removed from the bench. this judge does not follow case law does not follow the constitution does not follow due process there is nothing good about this judge and she needs to be removed not only from the bench but her law license revoked she is particularly damaging and family court

She is the worst judge in the county, and acknowledged as such by those counsel unfortunate enough to come across her. She defines the concept of "home cookin'." Petulant, irritable, unfair, unreasonable and without a hint of judicial poise. Because she's holding onto her judgeship by the skin of her teeth she's overly indulgent of the local civil litigators, tolerating virtually any conduct while hammering anyone from outside Manatee County on the most trivial of issues. She thinks nothing of telling an attorney that she considers them "unprofessional" right in front of their client and in circumstances where a diligent judge knowing the law wouldn't even begin to see a problem. I actually won my trial before her, and have no professional or economic dog in the hunt. But I would be remiss if I didn't say that after thirty years, 120 jury trials and two board certifications, I have rarely seen this type of gross incompetence and intemperate conduct. Be warned.

Unqualified as a family Judge and any Family matters she has presided over. Should be disbarred. She is personally bias against not only men but if not represented by an attorney you are treated as a second class citizen. Does not allow enough time for trials and is not capable of presiding over one. She is a wreaking ball in Family court matters and has no interest of following the right to be a parent as protected by the Constitution or other case law. They do what they want, when they want with no regards to the best interest of the child. She needs to step down from the bench.
