JUDGED ME OFF OF HEER HATRED OF ME? My attorney, Who is now another judge in Osceola County, asked me why she hated me so much. What a great judge to have in a custody fight.

Stunning. I had hopes of justice at last reading her ratings. Appears the rating is bogus. Filed in court, had to file a Writ to get a court response with prior Judge, The case was a clear cut default case after 3 years. Filed and set up hearing for Default. To avoid that she ran to another issue and out of the blue against all laws and reasoning wrote an order that was crazy. Seriously. THEN knowing her order would be appealed, and I could do so, banned me from filing on the docket!! No lie. So when I go to file an appeal, it doesnt go on docket, and cant trigger the appeal process. Refused to place her Order on dockets. (it was that bad). In other words the common person would think, well that is it. I am done. Had never ruled on the case prior but she made up for it big time. Makes you wonder how many others she has some hidden order on a case and blocks them from appealing. I then filed new case on Appeal Court to have the Court trigger the Appeal. What happened to this Judge? Seriously thinks she can get by with it?? Orlando court is a circus.

I've practiced in front of Higbee numerous times, but only for her time handling violations of probation. She is a real pleasure. Handling violations of probation can be a sticky business, but her extreme level of patience with folks who don't deserve it will amaze you. I don't even have the kind of patience for some of my clients that she's displayed! This judge cares about the people whose lives are placed in her hands. I've had folks with serious drug habits who would have been thrown in prison without ever getting the help they need, yet Judge Higbee will find a way to help those who are down on their luck. She has a big heart, and Orange County is blessed by having such a caring judge on the bench.
