Judge Sniffen is an incompetent individual who basically was more concerned about impressing the female attorney in the court room opposing me and working with the judge.
Just handing out improper justice to try and impress his female coworker, myself having a degree in Psychology/Communications and a very high emotional IQ it was incredibly obvious that this was nothing more than a Napoleon complex to try and attempt to impress my opposing attorney who was an attractive blonde, white, young female.
It literally felt like something out of a movie!

This terrible excuse for a judge not only spoke to me in a yelling fashion where it was not merited , he went on and charged me for a petty misdemeanor worth three dollars, that was caused by nothing more then extenuating circumstances due to myself not feeling well and literally leaving the store in an ambulance of which I had documented proof from the hospital the day of the court hearing.
I had mistakenly gotten crazy glue in my contact case that holds my contacts the night before.
When I put my contacts in the next morning, it slowly caused severe side effects and offset my cognition in a major fashion.
I myself, who was considering being a police officer and had no prior convictions was treated like an absolute animal.
The day I was arrested, I was starting to feel sick in the store and my cognition was getting extremely offset, I was literally trying to fight from fainting while in the store.
Judge Sniffen the day in court spoke to me in a condescending fashion the entire time and charged me the highest fee possible as per the request of his attractive coworker as her job was to obviously prosecute me.
She seemed to take it personally when I refuted her points across-the-board and when supplying my documentation from the hospital, she unprofessionally mocked me, making believe she read a full two pages in three seconds all while displaying a mocking facial expression while reading it!!!!
Just so unprofessional!!!
This atrocious attorney who was paying more attention to her nails than she was the actual case asked the judge to charge me the most money possible, unfortunately because she was losing and didn’t care for my confidence.
Of course Judge sniffen obliged trying to impress her and charged me $800 for a mistake due to a health issue that unknowingly occurred in the store as I was in dire need for medical attention.
Please remember the item in question that they accused me of taking was merely a drink worth a ballpark of two dollars ??????.
I still stayed in line to pay for all my other items, keeping in mind, I was literally trying not to faint while waiting for the cashier to ring me up. Thank God I didn’t pass out and crack my skull on the concrete floor.
This judge is an embarrassment, and someone that needs to be evaluated for his own lack of self-confidence and if he even has the right moral-compass to hold a position of this authority, if he’s going to make atrocious decisions like this, imagine if this was something serious !!
Absolutely disgusting !!!
How dare this mistakingly glorified attorney speak to me the way he mockingly did.
I so hope and pray the federal judging system Remind Judge sniffles and these terrible attorneys to realize that they work for the people as we pay the judges and attorneys salaries!
I then went on to appeal the case, and if by chance, God forbid you wind up in a courtroom and you see that he’s the judge, if he still is, please request another one because he does not have the moral compass to conduct a courtroom properly and is a self-centered shell of a man. I truly hope that judge Sniffen and the public get to see this because your dealing with peoples lives and you yourself whether you believe it or not are not perfect.

Judge Sniffen is an excellent judge. He's always prepared, candid, knowledgeable, compassionate yet objective, unemotional. Whether he rules for or against me, I am always confident that he has given the arguments serious consideration and is advised in the law.

He is not jaded.

That's the job. It cannot be easy, and he is commendable. We would all be better off with 1,000 more like him on the bench.

He is an excellent jurist. He takes the time to make sure he has a complete understanding of both sides' arguments. He reviews the relevant facts and law and applies the law to the facts. Our judicial system would benefit from having more judges like Judge Sniffen.

After the decision that was made for the dogs Buck and Bill after being seized by Manatee County in connection with the Karen Erskine case (who is the owner of the two Australian shepherds), I am disgusted with this judge. This is a man who doesn't care about anyone but himself. He is a man who hates animals. The boy got a few stitches, probably from provoking these dogs. He didn't have reconstructive surgery. Dogs chase kids on bikes all the time. These dogs don't like kids, and they don't like the bikes. This poor woman was not even given the chance to say goodbye to her pets. Her constitutional rights were violated when her dogs were taken from her home unlawfully. If this man was a true judge, he would know this.
