He’s a terrible judge in the civil division. He doesn’t read the motions before hand and decides what he thinks is fair not what the law actually says he must do.

Fairer than fair, makes good legal decisions and realizes this system is not perfect. I have seen him while waiting in the court make sound judgments on motions before the Court. I would say one of the best Judges in Broward hands down.

Can't explain his rulings in civil. Totally clueless. Maybe he's a good criminal judge, but on the civil side, no way Jose.

This is one of my favorite judges to be in front of. A former federal prosecutor, he is very knowledgeable and experienced. He also has one of the best dispositions of any judge in South Florida. Attentive and respectful of all parties, he always carefully considers each side's arguments. He gives the impression of being very fair and in line with the law, while at the same time recognizing the humanity in criminal defendants.
