Kinda mean, can get personal. Does not like pro se anybody, the public or young attorneys. Has favorites. Observed this judge in action over many years and she is unpredictable even if the facts are clear if she does not know you.. Have a court reporter at every hearing. I have never received an adverse ruling from this judge. She seems to understand complex issues but I’ve noticed certain types of cases and people she prefers over others. She makes it obvious by the amount of detail she allows and from whom prior to ruling. These are merely my own observations.

Have to agree with the other reviewers that this Judge is passive/aggressive, appears outwardly pleasant though harbors a mean streak. If she doesn't like a party watch out for her wrath as it doesn't matter if you are a plaintiff or defendant. Will do anything to get a case off her docket. Will appear to be fair and require briefing and then will rule without allowing argument on the matter. Have a court reporter at all times with this judge.

Just like the other reviewers stated, judge is passive aggressive, not well versed in civil litigation, appears to be biased in some cases. One case I handled against the government in a civil matter the judge favored the government. Can't say how the judge rates in the criminal division as my experience is only the the civil division.

You must have received an adverse ruling and have "sour grapes." Judge tobin singer is an excellent jurist who is prepared, intelligent and even-handed.

Unfortunately, while appearing outwardly pleasant in tempermant, carries a serious passive aggressive mean streak towards certain attorneys, especially younger ones. Probably more apt at criminal law, but struck me as rather unversed in civil litigation. Not a remarkable jurist, and one who can get notoriously petty for frivilous reasons.

Although pleasant to practice before, unfortunately not very intellectual on complex matters. Often even with case support doesn't get it.
