Should retire and not be allowed in any courtroom ever again. He does not listen! Sent an innocent man to prison for 10 years and probation for 15 years after that. There was countless proof of his innocence during trial and this horrible judge made sure to lock this man up any way.

He put my brother back in prison for 10 years 9 months and 5 days on a technical violation because he had a vop because he had no address due to my father passing away and he had no place to go. My brother suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and completed all except for one year of five years of probation, but because he didn't want to go back to prison and his probation officer told him oh well if you don't have an address I'm violating you and due to the probation officers response my brother reacted and started avoiding probation. The saddest thing about all this to me is I actually did vote for him during the election because I met him at the West Orange hobnob and he presented himself with domestic violence. And I have a history of domestic violence so we kind of connected but now I just see he's a fraud. I actually found this site coming on here to see when reelection happened so I can cast my vote for somebody else. This judge makes me sick to my stomach!

He does not listen to any fact He let my grandchildren go with a drug abuser, who would rather be getting high. I called DCF on him and they were shocker that he was able to gain custody and remove him from his care, but they refused to give to straight to me. He had to go to foster care for 4 weeks and within those 4 weeks he was sexual abused. ITS ALL HIS FAULT AND I HOPE HE NOR HIS CHILD ever have to go thru something like that but if they do it was karma doing it job

His does not listen and next time his up for re election I will go on a campaign against him to ensure he doesn’t win. I had to wait in the court room while the party exited and he let 2 parents that hate each keep 50/50 custody. These parents of actually stabbed each other and have multiply encounter of physical violent against. My child father who has just entered my son’s life gained custody of him. Since than my son has been with him, he has gone to the er and gone to see the doctor almost every month. My son now lives with roaches and filth. I have no criminal record and has always been the primary caretaker. He made his decision with no evidence to back it up. Traver actually caught him in a lie and ignore it. Traver has no experience and should not be a judge I can’t wait until the next election year.

Horrible judge. Inexperienced and should NOT be re-elected. He put a victim of domestic violence in a position to where they had to fight for over 7 months to get an injunction against a person who was being charged criminally by the state for Battery. This isn't what I call just and fair behavior by an officer of the court whose job it is to protect victims of Domestic Violence. His judicial orders and decisions caused the victim not only more emotional abuse but financial loss as well. Shame on you Judge Dan Travers for making a victim of Domestic abuse fight for their protection against their abuser.

This judge sides with men in domestic violation matters and makes the victim jump through many legal hoops and spend way too much money. The victim is at the mercy of the judge and the misogynist is supported by this judge. Not worthy to be on the bench. This judge is up for re-election and not deserving of another 6 years.
