Judge Croom is always very professional and informed. She does not waste time and cuts to the chase, while still allowing both sides ample time to say what they have to say. I have always found her to be very knowledgeable, intelligent, and fair. I wish there were more judges like Judge Croom.

Will steam roll lawyers in front of her. Will also issue excessively tight trial deadlines and be irritated if they cannot be met. Also will ignore consequences of failing to grant flexibility in meeting trial deadlines because "deadlines are deadlines." Absolutely inappropriate judicial temperament.

Was connected 4 minutes past the time of a cattle call case management hearing due to CourtCall issues. I was told my case of 3 years had been dismissed. The Order failed to make any finding of willful or contumacious conduct on my part, which is required before imposing the harsh remedy of dismissal. I thought this was very improper, particularly in light of the fact that the case was 3 years in the making and there was no prior dealings with the Judge that would warrant such a swift and harsh result. It was out the blue. Don't be late for this Judge.

I had the pleasure of observing this judge at a motion calendar. She is a consummate professional who knows how to maintain a courtroom. She is courteous, very bright, real, and personable. She is a young judge who knows how to show respect and she was very welcoming to me as a new lawyer to her jurisdiction. She's class and all that!
