Watch out for DePaul. She favors the mother in family cases even when the mother is guilty of wrongdoing and withholding the child. This judge can get impatient and cranky. Doesn't control the courtroom and allows the favored party bash and disparage the opposing party. Then does not let the opposing party respond or object, even if the opposing party is being civil and professional. Sometimes her courtroom can be a circus. If you are a father beware you will get unfair treatment, even if you are the petitioner in a case. This judge also grants sanctions without following the law even if they are not warranted. While my first impression was no-nonsense, the more I was exposed to her I could see she is not even tempered.
