Terrible judge. Believes lies with no fault ts. Doesn't believe in alimony, even if you're disabled and were a homemaker. Ex can go on with $200 k a year job and I live in poverty after 39 years with this abusive ex.
Harrigfeld is terrible. All for men!!! He believed lies ex told him.

Terrible! He is all for men. Not fair. Believed lies of my ex husband. I live on less than $700 a month because I was homemaker. Meanwhile spouse has $12000 a month. Spouse lied about me and slandered me. Judge Harrigfeld believed him and. Never cared about me what so ever. Spouse lied about owning assault rifles, and many other things. Judge Harrigfeld is terrible!!!!!
This Judge thinks that is fair for a homemaker to go with nothing. Even after I put ex through college.

My daughter and granddaughter were assaulted in our home by our granddaughter's father. They both had the very bad luck of the protection order case for our granddaughter being heard by Judge Harrigfeld because of a scheduling issue. Because the protection order on our daughter was not contested, he allowed almost no evidence to be presented about the attack. Harrigfeld allowed the father's attorney to badger, belittle and further victimize our daughter. The judge seemed completely enamored by the attacker's mother who lied several times during her testimony while batting her eye lashes and claiming 'family first'. The result is that the abuser has visitation supervised by his parents who have been present when he has said things like "shut the F up" to our granddaughter. This judge chose to place an innocent child at risk. I suppose if she's severely injured next time, MAYBE the judge will move to protect her.

My teenaged son has been having difficulties this past 18 months or so. He has had to appear in judge Harrigfeld's courtroom on numerous occasions, to my chagrin. On every single appearance judge Harrigfeld has belittled me. I am not a criminal. I, like most parents, am a hard working adult intent on raising my kids to be upstanding members of our society. However, this judge does not let a parent speak to their child in his courtroom. Today, while in this man's courtroom he asked me if I had anything to say. I responded, "Your Honor, may I take a couple of minutes time to speak, not so much to the court but to my son?" The judge said I could, but almost immediately after I started speaking to my son - trying to explain to him in a courtroom setting - how he wasn't just disappointing me, but more so himself, the judge rudely cut me off and asked, "How long is this going to take?!" Well, considering I had been allotted 2 minutes and I had only spoken about 15 seconds... I would gather I wasn't being too much of an imposition on this god's time schedule. When I tried to explain, "this will be short, your Honor," he cut me off again, "This is going nowhere and you're taking up too much of the court's time." Well, excuse me for breathing! This judge is too immature for his position. No mature adult cuts off another adult trying to help their child to understand that their choices aren't helping them. I am 100% saddened that this man is allowed to sit behind a judge's bench... he does not deserve the honor.
