THIS JUDGE REQUIRES REMOVAL IMMEDIATELY -
I AM SEEKING TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE JUDICIAL INQUIRY BOARD.
This judge appears incompetent and mentally incapacitated, unable to adjudicate according to law, inability to understand logic and reason, and as multiple comments here have noted, is blatantly gender bias.
The inability to judge and apply Illinois law accordingly and appropriately makes this judge more of a detriment than the issues that come before him, and his inability to function as required by law necessitates his removal.
A COMPLAINT IS NECESSARY.

Unfortunately it is beyond the parameters of a logically minded human being as to why this judge is still on the bench. Without question this Judge is, sadly, the source of many jokes amongst attorneys within the community. He truly seems like a lovely human being, however is absolutely and utterly unfit to perform his duties on the bench. I have waited over one year now to put my opinion forward as I wanted to do it with sound mind after my experiences and recently reviewing court transcripts And orders from Judge Grady and now having one year of experience in Family Court with another judge, I feel it only my responsibility as a citizen to take action to have this judge removed from the bench. He is completely out of touch with reality and absolutely has preferences in a court in terms of women and attorneys. He does not manage the court appropriately and is a walking Constitutional violation.

He made a bad judgement and looked me in the eye saying it was a bad judgement. He said it isn't his first and won't be his last, then laughed it off. This is the same person deciding serious issues in divorce. He is pro-woman and your lawyer needs to be a regular in his court room, then he lets that lawyer do whatever he/she wants. He needs to get fired.

Only leaving a comment because a one star rating would be too high. His ability to discern and interpret. Is either zero or he's being paid to make bad judgements. I have no proof of that, other than my kindergartner can see through the injustice carried out in this court.

This judge doesn't follow laws, divorce decrees that he himself handed down, doesn't review case before it comes in front of him. He makes rulings outside of marriage settlement agreements.

Downright terrible judge! Doesn’t pay attention. Always late to court. Very unfair in rulings. Doesn’t look into cases just what’s written in front of his face. Orders one thing and changes his mind at the next court date. Lacks compassion and understanding.

unbelievable !! my daughter is going through a divorce for the last year and this judge has refused to order child support for 2 kids. my daughter makes $15 hr and her ex makes $125,000. the state law says he is to pay $2600 per month but the judge is ignoring the state mandated amount. Help get rid of this judge !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This judge needs to retire. He is too old and unfit to rule anymore. I have been in divorce court with him for a year and he still forgets my ex's name, doesn't remember we have children even though they have testified. he forgets orders he's ruled on already, he won't follow state statutes. He won't follow the states online child support calculator. He also ignores all motions I've filed as well as any evidence I've tried to show him. He told me my disease is made up and fake even though I was diagnosed by multiple physicians and the CDC recognizes it. I could go on and on. He basically just made me homeless so my ex could get 50% of my net earnings even though she makes almost 35% more than I do. All of this because I wouldn't hire a lawyer and my ex did.

Horrible, awful judge. Claims no change in circumstances when a father's income structure changes and he is now paying nearly 50% of his net income for two children. This is not because of minimum guidlines as the support is more than $4,000 a month on average.

I’ve been pro se for my custody case, after my ex has used the legal system to abuse me for 7 years. This judge, for the last two years, has refused to look at any evidence I’ve ever brought into court. He ignored evidence that my ex husband sexually assaulted our 4 year old and turned custody over to him. He has refused any and all petitions and motions that I have filed. On the occasions that my ex husband was late to court, He kept pushing our case back further and further to accommodate His tardiness. My ex has been in contempt of court close to 100 times and each time the judge ignores it. He issues orders with little to no explaination, guidelines or specifics. When a Dekalb judge reviews one of these orders He stated that none of it made sense, legally or otherwise. He never lets me speak in court and when a court ordered supervisor approached him with complaints regarding my ex, he said He didn’t care, so long as I didn’t have an attorney.

Having used him in 2 different divorces I would have to say he should retire. The 1st divorce he gave me everything because the other side didn't show up and he literally asked my attorney "What do I do here?" the 2nd time I met with multiple attorneys (5) and they all said the same thing "He's pro-woman, since the death of his wife", "He should retire" "He doesn't remember anything" "Depending on the attorney he's easily manipulated" "He doesn't follow civil procedure (Meaning he makes his own rules up)" all of which I can say is true. Case in point he froze my bank accounts for legal fees on a Monday and the following next day for another matter admonish me for not having the ability to turn over funds. He literally didn't realize he allowed the accounts to be frozen and had to ask for an attorney to write another order to "unfreeze" the bank account.

Since the passing of his wife.. he seems distracted and not at all informed or educated on the case in front of him. Reversing previous orders, that he stated HE would NOT address again.. no change of circumstance and changing orders. Very unfair and unsettling to think this Judge is still presiding over cases. If he is not handling his wife`s passing, he needs to resign. Before he damages more families.

He has dementia. He changes his mind by the minute. With in 4 days he changed his mind 4 times. He refuses to let anyone have a hearing. He refuses to follow the law. I'm appealing is last two decisions. I'm 99% sure they will get overturned. They made no sense, and his reason for his decision, went against his decision. He really needs to go.

So far..less than 1. Judge fails to even know his own orders. Judge fails to familiarize himself with the case on his desk. Judge fails to read documents presented IN court. Judge is uneducated on the case before him. Judge is totally out of touch with reality. Kids` lives are in the balance and he fails to read the case.. he got passed this case so he has NO knowledge of what has been going on, but HE ordered mediation.. and has no memory of it..yet again..another judge simply donning a black robe to collect a paycheck..Judge Brawka.. should be listening in on these inept judges.. totally lacking in any knowledge of the case presented to him.. Disgraceful.

Great Judge...very patient, even headed, nice and respectful to all parties. He is fair and but not afraid to issue a ruling.
