I understand there are legal reasons to do things but when this judge walked into the court room before the trial for custody had started and said he had made up his mind already about the case. There was proof of abuse in multiple ways as well as alienation from the mother. The mother’s attorney is supposedly good friends with the judge and he made that known in court as well stating that they golf together. I feel it was completely unjust and unfair. We couldn’t afford to spend another $10k to go to the appellate court and honestly it’s taken a while to realize just how many bad people are in charge of other people’s lives. We knew something was up when the mom walked in looking like she just crawled out of bed. It doesn’t seem right that someone like her with a record of her own has the power to take children away but if she’s working with a judge like that it’s concerning how many families are in dire need of assistance due to this system that seems to be ok for the county of Randolph.
