Judge Edward Robles is not an honorable judge. The city of Chicago is notorious for sitting these type of individuals on the bench. He is unfair and partial to lawyers even though you have evidence to prove your case. He totally disrespected Judge Carr’s judgement, which was my main evidence. My ex ducked and dodged paying child support to this very day. Never vote for this individual if you see his name. It’s been 11 years and my ex still owes me. Robles was biased and treated my case like it was a fresh and new divorce. All he had to do was execute the judgment. My ex still owes me child support and my daughter is now 22 years old. I had to stop fighting because of stress and high blood pressure. My finances were depleting and my health was compromised. Robles and my ex husbands lawyer wore me down. They lied and cheated me and my daughter. On one of many appearances, Robles came into the court room, sat down at the table and stated that he would not be be presiding from the bench, in fact he would not be wearing his robe. However, he sat there and interrogated me as if he was the attorney for my ex-husband. I was representing myself because I couldn’t afford a lawyer. This was a post 2009 divorce case for child support. This short interrogation went on in front of my ex and his attorney. He allowed her to write an order that I did not agree with I kept saying that I didn’t agree with it. Judge Roble got up and left the court room. I kept saying that I didn’t agree so he sent us to two different mediators several times. It was exhausting and a waste of time and money. I never received any child support according to the judgement. The sale of a piece of property should have settled it. I was still fighting 3 years ago to get justice for the judgment that was made by Judge Carr. Robles totally disregarded the judgment. [Redacted by Ed.] He has no respect for the judge who put the final order in place for my divorce and distribution of assets. I am disabled and have a right to plates and nine screws in my right ankle. He sent me around on wild goose chase to report him to his supervisor. I reported him to judge Timothy Evans. Nothing was done. I went all over searching for help. It was exhausting. I have reported judges and was disappointed every time because they all know each other. They party together many are friends. This city is so corrupt.[Redacted] My daughter suffered and I suffered because he fused to be fair and righteous. Judges must be righteous and fair people. Robles can’t spell fair or righteous. The court system is a joke with people like him sitting on the benches. He has no conscience. He is not fit to sit on the bench. Something is seriously wrong with his character.

Had him in a parenting case. Definitely biased agains fathers. Likes to impose ridiculous back room deals with attorneys to shorten cases even if it is unlawful and unjust. Backed me into a corner without a trial. Almost forced me into a horrible situation. I thank God he was moved to a different court from parenting to whatever he is in now. He should never be able to judge anyone. He started out what seemed like a fair judge. Nice person. Bad at equality.
