Rating:1.0
Comments:
Judge Nee, showed bias towards the defendant in a abuse case. He did not ask for additional information and gave the defendant 1/2 the maximum time for a protective order. Judge Nee dismissed the abusive charges and told a young lady she may make-up with the defendant for a special occasion so he doesn't want the protective order to get in the way. This was a horrible horrific experience for someone going thru abuse.

Criminal Defense Lawyer

Comment #: MD7082
Rating:9.9
Comments:
Been in front of Judge Nee numerous times. Always fair, always prepared, excellent disposition, straight shooter, will apply the law fairly to both sides, does not favor prosecution over defense (he is a former prosecutor). He's a very even-tempered and considerate judge who reaches good judgments.

Civil Litigation - Govt.

Comment #: MD6616
Rating:1.4
Comments:
An unprofessional, impatient, negligent, careless, unfair, incompetent, unreasonable person with too much power and lack of conscientiousness and seriousness about his role as a judge. Shouldn't be serving as a judge when he takes his role so lightly, not giving any care about how his unfair judgments negatively effecting the people's lives he judges against. He was in such a big hurry to go to lunch, he completely screwed up my case. What a shame! He didn't know the law, read the law he was provided by the council, didn't ask the right questions to find the pertinent facts, whatever the council provided to him, he got completely mixed up and could hardly understand a simple case's cause/effect events. Didn't allow me to respond to the other side's untrue claims. Didn't allow my council to question the other side. Was a complete flop of case handling. Despite plenty of clear and legitimate evidence, he disregarded the evidence even thought they were admitted! Despite presence of willing witnesses, didn't allow the witnesses to testify. All he was interested in was to hastily rush thru a case that had 4 years of history so he could go to his lunch! How negligent and sad can a judge in this country be to not care a bit about the truth, justice, and how they effect my life as a human being! A disabled single parent. Hope he gets a dose of his own medicine some time.
