It's refreshing to see a judge act like an actual human. Don't let her humor and relaxed countenance fool you though - she is listening to every word being said. Overall a very competent judge. Her decade in criminal appellate defense really shows.

Judge McCormack is a complete narcissist [redacted by ed.]. Her disdain for portions of her profession are laughable as is her self proclaimed status as a great mind of criminal law. Guessing she gained this status over the two years of trail experience she has in the local PD’s office. Judge Stacey would be astonished if she could actually comprehend would people think every time she waddles into the courtroom saddled with all her personal baggage. She enjoys jury trails because they are easy, not complicated work, nothing difficult, basically she just sits there. [redacted] poor judge.

Judge McCormack does not possess the judicial temperament or wisdom to preside in family court. Her disdain for it is well known in words and action. It’s simply beyond her grasp, and that’s what frustrates her. Qualified judges are well rounded, mature and thoughtful. She lacks these qualities.

Not posted in haste. The childish manner in which this judge conducts her courtroom resembles a middle school carnival on a Friday night. Chronically late, slang language, giggles and a flirtatiousnesses that permeates throughout. Everything short of gum chewing. SWM is pretentious and self absorbed. Her overt lack of respect for the bench (and herself) is palpable. She has honed her rep, whether it’s Wachs or member’s of the S.O., she’s seems to be in crisis. Needs to behave more judiciously.

Absolutely the worst, should never be allowed in family court. Zero compassion or empathy, totally disinterested. Learn what she did to her own family, figures. As bad if not worst then her “mentor”, Wach ruined her. SWM would have been wise to follow the precedent sent by Judge North. Make a mistake, run from it. Then deny, deny, deny.

I’ve read the comments below and the negative comments appear to be someone’s “personal agenda”….judge McCormack is entirely suited for the bench. She is hardworking, listens, empathetic, and most importantly knowledgeable on the law. This isn’t the forum for someone’s personal vendetta. I have appeared before this judge more times than I can count and she is on the mark-even when I disagree-every time…

A female judge who holds the ability to see right through vindictive females who perpetrate false DV allegations. Further, attempting to provide the creation of false evidence to Judge McCormack is unwise as she is not a fan of Family Law cases. Counselors who initiate this misconduct on behalf of their frivolous clients should face sanctions and eventually disbarment.

NOT a judge who should be deciding family court matters, and NOT Domestic Violence Cases! She started our hearing with "I don't like family law cases, I would rather have Criminal cases all day."
Then she made every excuse she could for the stalking my husband was doing and overlooked his history of physical violence because he "has never threated to hurt me?"
THIS this the kind of judge who allows dangerous people "second chances" which means the perpetrators get second chances to hurt their victim.

I wonder if Judge McCormack considers that maybe if she had reported Wachs's disgusting behavior instead of succumbing to it, many good people wouldn't have been hurt by him? He would have been in jail where his ilk belongs and she could have a clear conscience. Sin begets more sin...

Brilliant and level headed. Never fails to see the bigger picture and is constantly exhibiting strength of character in all of her decisions. I've witnessed her be completely disrespected both in and out of the courtroom and still handle herself with total grace and respect. But it should be noted - She is not one to take BS from anyone. Show up with respect in her courtroom or don't show up at all. Overall a very respectable judge. Happy to have her on the bench.

Disappointing. Less about the work, more about the perk kind of person. She has irrevocably tarnished her reputation with repeated poor decisions both on and off the bench calling into question her independence. She is also well qualified to decide complex legal matters, probably due to having a background not just in trial but also appellate litigation.

She's terrible! She denied a motion to reconsider a contempt. The defendant lied and she didn't even have the decency to hear the plaintiff's side of the story. Because of this my kids have been verbally and mentally abused by their father. The same father who's side she took without even giving the mother a chance to be heard. Thanks Judge McCormack!
