In a small claims court matter, Judge Allen was unwilling to hear defendant's evidence, and was shocking in his attitude, behaviour, and words to the Dffendant. I saw & heard this judge lean over the bench and state "how stupid are you" to the defendant. Also, despite the defendant having evidence (a date & time stamped receipt)of timely filing of a counterclaim, the judge refused to look at the evidence, dismissed the counterclaim, and ruled against this litigant. This judge refused to consider any evidence or information the defendant offered and refused to consider that he erred in refusing to accept the receipt of defendant's filing. I understand that the defendant had to fight the judge and court to have someone look at the receipt, had to return to court for another hearing, and the judge never acknowledged his error. Very bad bahviour by this judge, and for no apparent reason, a poor attitude toward a litigant.
