This is the worst judge I have ever seen on the bench. How do they allow him to serve? If he forms an opinion of you, and it's not a good one -- you're screwed!

Judge Kay is not at all up-to-date on case law and the codes, and makes it very obvious that his position is based on instinct. He never misses a chance to castigate a defendant or belittle an attorney. He ascended the bench after age 60, having spent a lifetime selling insurance. Not the judge you want to pull.

This judge is quite ill-tempered, with an acid demeanour and an affinity for intimidation. He shouts and blusters and allows his widely-known Born-Again Christian perspective to polarize his views into categorical right-and-wrong.
